Maybe it's the hotel gym you feel obligated to hit before breakfast, running on four hours of sleep. Maybe it's scanning every menu for the "safest" option before you've even sat down, or feeling like you have to earn the client dinner with an extra-long walk through the terminal. Maybe it's coming home from a trip and feeling like you need a week to "get back on track" before life resumes.
Here's the thing: these patterns are so normalized it's easy to assume this is just how eating away from home has to feel. But it’s not the only way. You can learn to trust yourself around food again — anywhere you are.

Vacation should feel like a vacation, not a mental math problem. We'll work on actually being present on your trip — enjoying the local food, relaxing at the hotel breakfast, and saying yes to dessert without a side of guilt or a "post-vacay workout" waiting for you when you land.

High-achieving professionals are often praised for the exact habits that quietly erode their relationship with food — skipped meals, grabbing whatever's fastest, powering through instead of pausing to eat. We'll build an approach that helps you move through catering, hotel gyms, and expense-account dinners with real confidence, no willpower required.

Dining halls are basically an all-you-can-eat buffet, and no one hands you a manual for that. We'll work on feeling normal around food without a kitchen of your own — building a plate, trusting your hunger, and skipping the guilt spiral over a late-night dining hall run.

Hi, I'm Morgan! I'm a Registered Dietitian based in Houston, TX, working with women virtually across Texas — plus in-person if you're local. I specialize in intuitive eating, with a soft spot for anyone who eats away from home more than they'd like to admit: consultants living out of a suitcase, freshmen figuring out the dining hall for the first time, and vacationers who spend more time worrying about the hotel breakfast than enjoying their trip.
When I'm not in session, I'm hunting down the best coffee within walking distance of wherever I've landed, or three chapters into a book I started on a plane.
Care here is never centered around weight loss. Full stop. You'll never be handed a calorie goal, a hotel-gym homework assignment, or an "earn your dinner" mindset disguised as advice.
No tracking, no forbidden foods, and no earning meals — ever. Instead, we work toward a relationship with food steady enough that you don't have to think about it all day, whether you're at your kitchen table, gate B12, or the dining hall salad bar.
Textbook advice falls apart the moment a flight gets delayed or the dining hall runs out of your go-to. Everything here is built to hold up in the real world — flexible, practical, and never dependent on a perfect routine you can only pull off at home.
Morgan Sinclair Nutrition is a private-pay practice, which means sessions aren't billed directly through insurance. Many clients are still able to use their out-of-network benefits toward the cost of care — upon request, I'm happy to provide a superbill, an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider ahead of time to ask about your out-of-network coverage for nutrition counseling, as benefits vary by plan.
Initial Session | 60 minutes | $160
Follow-up Sessions | 45 minutes | $135
Travel-Ready Intensive (3 Sessions) | $525
Ask about reduced-rate options for students. And since travel schedules aren't always predictable, know that if your trip gets moved, your session can too.
Absolutely. While a lot of clients come to this work because of travel, "eating away from home" also covers dining halls, dorm life, holidays, weekends at a friend's, or just a season of life where home-cooked meals aren't happening as often. If food feels harder outside your own kitchen, this work is for you.
Morgan Sinclair Nutrition is a private-pay practice. A superbill is available upon request for clients who'd like to seek reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. Reach out before your discovery call if you have questions about your specific coverage.
Sessions are held virtually, so you can join from wherever's most comfortable — home, a hotel room, or your office between meetings. In-person sessions are also available for local clients in the Houston area.
We build flexibility into how we work together from the start. If a trip comes up or plans shift, we'll adjust your session cadence instead of treating it like a disruption to the plan.
Every client's timeline looks different. Some clients meet weekly for a few months to build a foundation before a big trip or busy travel season; others continue longer-term support. We'll check in regularly on your goals and adjust as we go.
You don't have to figure out intuitive eating alone, especially when so much of it happens in transit. This six-week group walks you through the core principles of intuitive eating with a specific focus on eating away from home: navigating buffets, business dinners, and airport food courts without the spiral. Each session builds on the last, and you'll leave with tools you can actually use on your next trip, plus a community of women who get exactly what a hard hotel breakfast feels like.
